By now you may have already seen this impressive map of every McDonald's in the continental United States:

​The best part about the graphic above: it shows you're never more than 145 miles away from a McDonald's. Plus, even if you somehow manage to get yourself stranded in the McDonald's-less wasteland between Meadow and Glad Valley, S.D., if you're desperate enough to hoof it all the way to your Big Mac, it's only 107 miles off-road.

Worst case scenario, even on foot you'd be eating a Double Quarter Pounder combo within a matter of days.

What I want to know is what is McDonald's doing to rectify this situation. I would also like to see how Hawaii and Alaska fare with McDonald's proximity.
